About Seth

Originally from Arizona, is a proud queer, Latinx, artistic entrepreneur, born and raised in Arizona. A graduate of ASU with degrees in Music Theatre and Business Marketing, Seth has performed, produced, and directed all around the valley. Most recently seen as Arthur de Bourgh in Miss Bennet Christmas at Pemberley (ATC), Detective Marcus in Murder For Two (PTC), George Gibbs in Our Town (Barnstormers), Marcus in Far From Canterbury (Barnstormers), Jacob in La Cage Aux Folles (ABT), Charlotte et al. in I Am My Own Wife (BLK BOX PHX), Leo Frank in Parade (ART & Mesa Outback Theatre, AriZoni Nomination), The Emcee in Cabaret starring Tony nominee Melissa Hart at FUSE Productions in PA. Favorite roles include:  Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam…(Phoenix Theatre, AriZoni Award), Harry in Lucky Stiff (ABT), Rod in Avenue Q (Mixed Blood Theatre), George in Sunday In the Park with George (Lyric Opera Theatre), Carmen Ghia in The Producers (Maltz Jupiter Theatre), David in Santaland Diaries (FUSE Productions), The Baker in Into The Woods (Quisisana Music Hall) and Max in Lend Me a Tenor (Mesa Encore Theatre). As an author, Seth’s play Our Kiki: A Gay Farce, was a hit at the NY International Fringe Festival and was subsequently produced at ASU, published by Indie Theatre Now. He is currently co-writing the musicals The Unusual Engagement of Chester Pringle and You're It! Other writing/producing credits include web series’, “Acting Up” (Indie Series Network nom. for best actor) and “Tucker Talks,” which he also directed and starred in. Other directing credits include: “Dating In Retrograde” web series (NYC Winter Film Awards best series finalist), Our Kiki: A Gay Farce (NY Intntl. Fringe), [title of show] also choreographed and performed in the role of Hunter, Arizona Broadway Theatre’s Altar Boyz, Shout, Spelling Bee and Pageant, the latter of which he also choreographed and he reprised the role of Miss West Coast which he originated Off Broadway. Seth can also be heard on the original cast recording. Seth is the founder of Acting Up Series under which he has produced, performed and directed many concerts and fundraisers throughout the pandemic, others include: Bad Words for a Good Cause benefit for Live Through Love, Fools Who Dream benefit at VYT, The Most Offensive Christmas Concert Ever! and [title of show] both benefits for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. During the pandemic Seth formalized his company Acting Up Series which focuses on Creating and developing virtual performances, music videos, video and sound editing, as well as organizing virtual fundraising events. We specialize in creating group/ensemble music videos. Seth is an active member of AEA and sits on the board of UCAT, Arizona’s newest BIPOC focused theatre organization.
